Baraka is an 18th century
traditional private residence located in the heart of the old historic area of
Ronda,
the queen of
Andalucian white villages.
In June 2003 it was awarded second place in much-covered competition for the
preservacion and maintenence of its historical buildings by the Ronda City
Council.
Baraka is
ideally located
for exploring
the old city,
enjoying its numerous squares full of outdoor cafes or indulging in painting,
hiking, biking, photography and horse riding.
Baraka
is only two minutes walk from
the famous Puente Nuevo (New Bridge)
and a few minutes walk from all the monuments of the old city yet completely
insolated from the hustle and bustle of town life.
Baraka is also a perfect base
for exploring the famous Pueblos Blancos (White Villages) and within driving
distance of the Costa del Sol (45 minutes), Sevilla (1.5 hours) and Granada
(2 hours).

Accommodation Baraka is
on a pedestrian cobblestone street and has been renovated adding contemporary
comfort to its historic charm.
The ground floor rooms open onto a traditional courtyard
ablaze with colors, Sevillana tiles, wall lamps, plants and a fountain
transporting the visitor to a bygone Moorish era where time seems to stand
still.
The rooms above have a view of mountains and the only sounds
breaking the silence are birdsong and church bells.
There is a refrigerator
stocked with drinks which functions on an honour system. Parking is on the
street nearby.

Ronda is a city in the Spanish province of Málaga. It is located about
100 km from the city of Málaga, within the autonomous community of Andalucía.
Its population is 35,512. It is also accessible by rail from Algeciras and
from Córdoba.
